Top Freshman Guard M.J. Postell Gains Division I Attention from Pepperdine Men’s Basketball

Class of 2029 St. Benedict’s Prep (N.J.) M.J. Postell has received an offer from Division I Pepperdine Men’s basketball program, today he wrote on X.

Additionally, the 6-foot-5 combo guard, who also plays for the PSA Cardinals AAU squad, holds an offer from Hampton, according to his X account.

Postell drained a team-high 338 points in 22 games, and led the Gray Bees to 18-8 record and trip to the finals of the Essex County Tournament, in which they lost, 68-63, to Seton Hall Prep.

Many high school basketball scouts considered Postell to be one of the top freshman guards in New Jersey.

Pepperdine is 9-22, and is facing No. 9 Portland today in the first round of the round of the West Coast Conference Tournament at 6:00 p.m.
