The Trenton Thunder of the MLB Draft League today announced that it is returning manager Shawn Chacón to the helm for his second year in a row in New Jersey, today the team wrote on X.

Chacón, 48, enjoyed an eight-year MLB career with the New York Yankees, Colorado Rockies, Pittsburgh Pirates, and Hoston Astros, posting a 45-61 record with a 4.99 ERA in 922.0 innings of work in 269 games.
The Colorado Rockies selected Chacón in the 3rd round of the 1996 MLB June Amateur Draft out of Greeley Central High School in Greeley, Colo.
