The Trenton Thunder announced the return of manager Shawn Chacón for his second year in the MLB Draft League. A former player with an eight-year MLB career, Chacón, 48, has coached in Trenton for five seasons. He was drafted by the Colorado Rockies in 1996.
San Francisco is expected to assign Cotter to its Class A team in San Jose, Calif. Braymer is projected as the starting pitcher for the Rockies’ Class AAA team in Albuquerque on Sunday against Tacoma.
