Canadian Oliver Engen Transfers to Albany Men’s Basketball

Queen’s University at Kingston guard Oliver Engen is transferring to University at Albany Men’s basketball program, yesterday he announced on X.

The 6-foot-4 sophomore, who attended Orangeville Prep at Athlete Institute in Canada, averaged 20.3 points, 4.6 assists, 4.2 rebounds, and 1.3 steals per game with the Gaels last season. Also, he earned an Ontario University Athletics (OUA) First Team All-Star nod.

The Great Danes posted a 11-21 mark and went 7-9 in American East Conference (AEC) action in the 2025-26 campaign.
