Los Perros del Mal Causing Havoc in AAA Wrestling, as El Grande Americano, Dominik Mysterio Set to Form Tag Team Against Faction

After Los Perros del Mal mercilessly attacked El Grande Americano (EGA) at Saturday’s Lucha Libre AAA Worldwide’s professional event in San Luis Potosi, Mexico, Dirty Dominik Mysterio, the reigning AAA Mega Champion, cleared the ring with the help a folder chair.

He then grabbed the mic and challenged Los Perros del Mal, a pro wrestling stable comprised of current members – Karmen Petrovic – a WWE NXT and main roster wrestler with a martial arts background, Daga – former AAA and WWE talent, Angel Garza – WWE wrestler active in NXT and the main roster, Berto – WWE wrestler (also known as Berto Garza), and Bronco Nima – WWE wrestler active in NXT and the main roster.

Two members of the Los Perros del Mal, Dogs of Evil in English, will face El Grande Americano and Mysterio at de Escándalo, in what is set to make strange bed fellows for the two competitors. The wrestling card will take place on Saturday, July 25, 2026, at Arena San Marcos in Aguascalientes, Aguascalientes, Mexico.

After that card, EGA will challenge Mysterio at AAA’s 2026 TripleManía 34, which will take on Friday, September 11, 2026 (Luxor Las Vegas, Paradise, Nevada), and Sunday, September 13, 2026 (Arena CDMX, Azcapotzalco, Mexico City, Mexico), according to sources.

Mysterio will defend his AAA Mega Championship belt on Night 2 of the two-night event, per source.

Note: The original Los Perros del Mal disbanded after Perro Aguayo Jr.’s death in 2015, but this 2026 revival is a fresh iteration in AAA, not a continuation of the original stable.
