When Brooklyn FC forward Juan Carlos Obregón, Jr. took to the pitch on Saturday, August 22, against the Pittsburgh Riverhounds, 1-0 defeat, he reached a major career milestone of 100 appearances in the United Soccer League (USL) Championship play.

In total, he has made 17 appearances for Rio Grande Valley FC, 53 appearances for Hartford Athletic, 12 appearances for the Riverhounds, and 18 appearances for Brooklyn FC this season.
Additionally, he spent time playing in Honduras for FC Motagua and USL League One with Charlotte Independence and Westchester SC. Obregon also represents Honduras internationally, including at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics.
Juan Carlos Obregón joined Brooklyn in 2026 for its inaugural campaign and has been an important part of the team, providing offensive firepower and veteran leadership to a brand-new squad, including captaining the side. In the 2026 season, he has netted five goals and two assists in 21 appearances in all games played.
