Philadelphia Union Recall Markus Anderson from Brooklyn FC After Loan

Brooklyn FC Men’s team today announced that Philadelphia Union of Major League Soccer (MLS) has recalled forward Markus Anderson. Philadelphia recalled him from his loan at Brooklyn FC in United Soccer League (USL) Championship.

Anderson had been a key member of the inaugural Brooklyn squad, making 16 appearances in the USL Championship and starting 14 of those matches. The Brooklyn-raised player tallied six goals in those games, most recently scoring on August 29th, 2026 in a 4-1 win against Sporting Jacksonville.

Anderson previously spent time under Brooklyn head coach Marlon LeBlanc at Philadelphia Union II and the two reunited for the 2026 USL Championship season at BKFC.
