McLean, 22, has whacked five longballs, drove in13 RBI and scored 10 runs in 67 at-bats. On the mound, New York's No. 19 prospect on MLB Pipeline had posted a 2-2 mark with 2.57 ERA, 38 strikeouts and 1.07 WHIP in 28 innings of work in seven games with Brooklyn.
Thompson, 33, went for the trifecta last night at home against the Iowa Cubs, while Brosseau, 30, did same thing versus the Cubs on Tuesday.
This season, Ewing is batting .235 with a homer, four RBI, four walks and a stolen base through 17 at-bats in five games.
