Right-handed pitcher Kade Morris has been promoted to the High-A Brooklyn Cyclones from the St. Lucie Mets after posting a 0-3 record with 3.63 ERA with 1.30 ERA and 38 strikeouts in 34.2 innings of work.
The 21-year-old Morris, a New York Mets’ third round pick in the 2023 MLB June Amateur Draft out of the University of Nevada, Reno, put up a 2.70 ERA with three strikeouts in 3.1 frames between two stops (Mets Florida Complex League and St. Lucie) in the Mets’ farm system in 2023.
Although Morris. a Modesto, Calif., has pitched well with a 3.55 ERA in 38 total innings, he will look for his professional win when he climbs the bump in Brooklyn for the first time.
