The Lake Erie Crushers have signed infielder Juan Kelly for the upcoming 2024 independent Frontier League campaign, yesterday the team announced.
Kelly, a native of the Dominican Republic, batted .248 with eight home runs, 48 RBI and seven stolen bases in 299 at-bats in 80 games with the Tri-City Valley Cats of the Frontier League last season.
Previously, the 29-year-old smacked .313 with 11 longballs and 61 RBI with a .399 OBP in 297 at-bats in 81 contests with the Aigles de Trois-Rivieres (Frontier League) in the 2022 campaign.
