David Melson of Cushing Academy (Ct.) and DTX Basketball has committed to the admission process at Division III Hamilton College (N.Y.) Men’s basketball program, today he announced on X, formerly Twitter. Hamilton will hold a roster spot for Melson.
Melson is a special player, a wonderful get for Hamilton. He is a 6-foot-6 senior shooting guard with tremendous drive and a unrelenting work ethic, per sources. Plus, he is also a sniper-type of shooter, especially from behind the arc, with an improved handle and ability to create for himself.
Additionally, Melson can score with either hand on the inside. But, more importantly, he sports a 3.8 GPA.
The Continentals posted a 11-14 overall record and went 4-6 in New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC) in the 2023-24 campaign.
