Schaumburg Boomers Re-Sign Pitcher, Long Islander Aaron Glickstein for 2026

The Schaumburg Boomers have re-signed right-handed relief pitcher and Dix Hills, N.Y., native Aaron Glickstein for the 2026 Frontier League season, the team recently announced on its website.

Glickstein, 28, posted a 2.85 ERA with 4-2 record with 65 strike outs in 58.0 innings of work in 34 games with the Boomers in the 2025 campaign. He is entering his fifth year with Schaumburg.

Glickstein spent the winter of 2024-25 with the Leones de León of the Nicaraguan Winter League, putting up a 3.24 ERA in three contests.

Before turning to the professional ranks, Glickstein suited for the Stone Brook University Seawolves for four years, going 3-2 with a 4.25 ERA in 82.2 frames in 42 tilts during his time on Long Island.
