Susan Wagner High School (Staten Island, N.Y.) and Team Lightning Melious 2026 forward Casey McKinney has picked up an offer from Division I Sacred Heart University (SHU) Women’s basketball program, today her AAU coach Dan Melious wrote on Facebook.

Additionally, the 5-foot-10 McKinney holds offers from NAIA California State University Maritime Academy (CSUMA), DII Pace and Lander, and DIII Maritime, per high school reports.
McKinney put up very impressive numbers, averaging 25.2 points, 9.4 rebounds, and 3.5 blocks per game in nine contests during the Public School Athletic League (PSAL) 2025-26 regular season. She also added a double-double of 27 points and 13 boards in a 44-41 first round PSAL Girl’s basketball playoff loss to John Jay.
The Pioneers posted a 13-18 overall mark and went 10-10 in Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) this past campaign.
